The program follows Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) guidelines and prepares graduates to take the Texas Nurse Aide Competency Exam.
Upon certification, graduates can work in nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, and home health settings.

Is there a certification exam after I graduate?
Yes — for the CNA program, there is a certification exam after graduation with Prometric.
After you complete the CNA course, you must pass the Texas Nurse Aide Competency Exam to become officially certified and listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
We'll prepare you for that exam step by step.
